Abstract

The present study is an attempt to examine attitude of secondary school teachers in Kendrapara district of Odisha towards smart classroom in relation to teaching experience and gender. The investigators selected sample of 100 secondary school teachers by using simple random sampling technique from 10 secondary school. The objectives of the study are i) to find out the level of attitude of secondary school teachers on smart classroom in Kendrapara district of Odisha. ii) to find out the difference in the attitude of male and female secondary school Teachers towards smart classrooms. iii) to find out the difference in the attitude of secondary school teachers having experience up to 10 years and more than 10 years towards the use of smart classroom. The tool namely attitude towards the use of Information and Communication Technology in teaching scale (ATUICTS) was constructed and validated by Rajasekar, S., (2014).The collected data were analysed by using mean, standard deviation, t-test, graph, percentage and average and accordingly interpretation was made.  The findings of the study revealed that there is a significant difference in attitude of secondary school teachers having experience up to 10 years and more than 10 years towards the use of smart classrooms. There is no significant difference in teaching experience between the secondary school Male and Female teachers.
