Abstract

In the present era of globalization education sector plays a vital role in all spheres of human development. The each and every aspect of human life is redeeming according to the race of global standards. The natural way of value inculcation is tremendously affecting in every country’s region, culture and related aspects. We know that values are the images of an individual’s behaviour, indicators of social changes and socially accepted behaviors that are resulted in individual’s ambition, desires and other types of social and personal attributes. Globalization effects the process of gaining the knowledge, increases the student’s ability through the new adopting modes of teaching and learning. We know that the only schools are the surroundings where various democratic values such as Equality, Freedom, Justice are not only taught but it can be tried to establish in the society. India is the largest democratic country in the world where teacher keeps top most place in diverse social structure. He is a changing agent which is capable to change in various dimensions of educational process so that various strategies and activities can be performed to insert the democratic values among the citizens. It is well known fact that democratic qualities and attributes can not be developed in students normally but it is wanted to design a particular skill-based programme so that students can participate in such type of activities and learn these democratic values. Fraternity, Broad attitude towards the society, Nation and Global perspectives, social and religious equity, awareness of duties towards nation and surroundings are major aspects of democratic values that should be scattered in various educational platforms. Really it is a way to teach the democratic activities among the children so that the children as well as growing up and develop as a citizen of country or the world they will capable to conserve these democratic values. In this research study it is tried to investigate that what is the real situation of awareness of democratic values in secondary school students and what should be the measures to inculcate the democratic values among these students. It is a survey study in which investigators has chosen the secondary school students studying in government schools of district Chitrakoot (Uttar Pradesh), India as Population of the study. In this study researchers have used standardized tool for data collection. After conducting the research, the findings have well explained about various applications in multifarious dimensions of new knowledge.
