Abstract

The purpose of this Term Paper is to explain the difference between blended learning and hybrid learning. Hybrid learning and blended learning seem the same but that is not the case. Blended learning focuses on the combination between offline and online learning. It broadens the learner experience by supporting anytime, anywhere learning, and reshapes the role of the instructor, whereas hybrid learning is about finding the right mix for you out of all the possibilities in learning, no matter if they are offline or online. Hybrid learning can offer the best of both in one unified experience. Face-to-face teaching, on one hand, allows a kind of immediate, real-time engagement that can be difficult to capture online.
